BioWare looking into 'Pinnacle Station' Mass Effect bug

Mass Effect Classics/Platinum Hits versions affected

News: BioWare looking into 'Pinnacle Station' Mass Effect bug

BioWare is looking into a bug affecting purchasers of Mass Effect's new DLC, Pinnacle Station.

The glitch appears to be a conflict between the previous DLC, Bring Down the Sky, but only when the DLC comes from the Classics/Platinum Hits reissues.

Seemingly, the Pinnacle Station DLC doesn't register with the game if you have the disc-based Bring Down the Sky, so the content doesn't show up in-game.

This means anyone who bought and downloaded Bring Down the Sky shouldn't be affected by the issue, or those who bought Pinnacle Station on its own.

BioWare's Jack Lamden made the following statement on the game's official forum:

"We're looking into this issue at the moment and are working to resolve it as quickly as we can."

"I don't have an ETA for a fix as of yet."

We wouldn't recommend Pinnacle Station anyway. 400 MSP for a few cruddy shooting galleries made by a development team with limited access to BioWare's 'support' is far too much as the game approaches its second anniversary.

Thanks, Joystiq.
