Final Fantasy creator's first iOS game arrives on the App Store

Party hard

Product: Party Wave | Genre: Arcade

Party Wave Multiformat, thumbnail 1
Legendary creator of the Final Fantasy series, Hironobi Sakaguchi, has released his first iOS title Party Wave onto the App Store.

It's a mixture of line-drawing and reaction-based gameplay, with your task being to help a selection of surfers catch 'big air' and not get 'wiped out', either by the water or by coral and sea life.

Not exactly what you'd have expected from someone more associated with sprawling Japanese RPGs, then, although at least one of the characters does sport some particularly spikey hair.

Party Wave is available now as a Universal app for £1.99 / $2.99 and you can grab it by hitting the button below.

Just played a bit - it's not particularly good, imo, so you may be right there.

So in other words he has recognised that you don't need to make a full game to be able to sell apps. £1.99 for the game described sounds like an awful purchase!
